outdated listicles, or written by people who've never actually dug into the details. We wanted something better — a guide
that's honest, thoroughly researched, and genuinely useful for planning real time in the city.We're a small, independent
team. We work with residents, frequent visitors, and local sources to make sure every guide holds up — not just

Hamza started WhatToDoDubai out of a simple frustration: most Dubai guides online are recycled press releases, outdated listicles, or written by people who spent a long weekend at a hotel and called it research. He wanted something built more carefully — checked against real sources, kept current, and honest about what it is and isn't.Right now, that means building the site's research and content from outside Dubai, using official sources and verified reviews, while working toward relocating to the city — the next step toward the site shifting to genuine first-hand coverage.
